Platform Overview

Greeks Vault is not an options chain with an order button. It is an end-to-end options trading command center: discover an opportunity, understand the contract, construct a strategy, model risk, validate assumptions, send an order, monitor the live position, respond to changing Greeks and volatility, and review the trade afterwards — without leaving the platform.

The product north star — one continuous loop

  1. 01DiscoverWhere should I look?Market regime, underlying, volatility, liquidity, catalysts
  2. 02UnderstandWhat is the market pricing?Chain, Greeks, IV, skew, term structure, OI / volume
  3. 03ConstructWhat structure expresses my thesis?Single legs, spreads, custom multi-leg strategies
  4. 04ValidateWhat can go wrong?P/L, Greeks, probabilities, scenarios, liquidity, margin
  5. 05ExecuteHow do I enter safely?Broker routing, order types, leg integrity, fills
  6. 06ManageWhat changed?Live Greeks, P/L, alerts, adjustment / exit workflows
  7. 07ReviewDid I follow my process?Journal, attribution, slippage, rule compliance
  8. 08LearnHow do I improve?Education, simulations, replay, explainability

Each layer answers one question a trader actually asks. The screens in this blueprint exist to answer them, in order.

Everything a Trader Needs

From market data to automation, the core capabilities of the platform. Click any capability for the detail behind it.

All core screens
03

Every Market. Options First.

One platform, every tradable instrument — with the rules of each instrument class built in rather than assumed.

0DTE & SPX mode

Short-duration index trading is a dedicated operating mode, not just another expiration.

  • Persistent DTE = 0 badge, session clock and cash-settlement banner
  • Expected move, intraday realized volatility and IV acceleration
  • Gamma-risk heatmap and near-spot strike ladder
  • Auto-refreshing NBBO with quote-age indicator
  • Hard risk controls — max daily loss, trades / day, contracts, concurrent positions, time-of-day
  • Emergency close-all / disable-entry for automated trading

Market-data health & provenance

Every number is traceable to its data timestamp, source, model and assumptions.

  • Feed connected · delayed · stale · degraded · disconnected — always visible
  • A "data as-of" timestamp on every analytic
  • Analytical / model prices explicitly separated from broker executable quotes
  • Stale data or broker disconnect → the platform fails closed

Education, Connected to the Platform

A handbook that lives inside the workflow. Hover a Greek for a concise explanation; click for the full lesson. Every advanced metric carries "What is this?" and "How is it calculated?".

Information Architecture

Definition of Done

The platform quality gate — what must be true before Greeks Vault calls itself complete.

  1. 01A trader can move from underlying discovery to a complete multi-leg strategy without leaving the platform.
  2. 02Every strategy shows live market data, Greeks, volatility, P/L, probabilities and risk before order submission.
  3. 03Every live order is validated for data freshness, buying power, leg integrity and configured risk limits.
  4. 04Every position is continuously attributable to a strategy and has live risk metrics.
  5. 05Every automated decision has an auditable chain from signal to broker response.
  6. 06Every backtest identifies its historical data, execution assumptions and version.
  7. 07Every model-derived metric exposes its methodology and assumptions.
  8. 08The platform fails safely when broker or market data is unavailable.
  9. 09A trader can reconstruct what happened on any trade after the fact.
  10. 10Education is embedded into the workflow without turning the platform into a recommendation engine.

Product note. This page is a product / UX and systems blueprint, not trading advice. Probability, theoretical value, Greeks, margin and risk estimates are model- or broker-dependent. Live trading uses authoritative executable quotes and broker / exchange contract specifications.
